Fiber optic splice covers - these are flexible, heat-shrinkable elements that reduce their volume when exposed to heat. They are equipped with stainless steel rods, which provide additional mechanical protection for the weld. Once the casing shrinks, the weld area is not exposed to mechanical damage. It also protects against moisture and contamination of all kinds.
