This switch is an internal version of the well-known netFiber 9 switch - used by many small and medium-sized ISPs for reliable 10-Gigabit fiber connections over 100 meters. With five 1G SFP ports, four 10G SFP ports, and an additional Gigabit Ethernet port, this is an ideal upgrade for existing CRS212 configurations. You get a modern ARM v7 processor, 256MB of RAM and better cooling. New Marvell switch chips deliver phenomenal performance!
The Gigabit Ethernet port is directly connected to the switch chip - so you can enjoy full Gigabit speeds. In addition, it supports PoE-in, which gives you an additional power option in difficult locations.
