OM3 multimode patchcord with a length of 5 meters, cable diameter of the order of 3mm, terminated with LC/UPC-LC/UPC connectors is used to connect network optical equipment like switches and converters. The cable contains bidirectional transmission. They are also widely used in FTTH networks to connect OLT and ONU/ONT devices.
