MikroTik 's TG-BT5-OUT is a modern, small and smart Bluetooth tag, designed specifically for MikroTik's KNOT series of devices and other IoT asset tracking and telemetry systems. With built-in temperature sensors and an accelerometer, as well as a long-lasting 550 mAh battery, the TG-BT5-OUT is ideal for indoor and outdoor inventory monitoring.
Performance and Functionality at the Highest Level
The TG-BT5-OUT tag stands out for its versatility and ease of integration into IoT systems. It can be used to track various objects based on their proximity, broadcasting advertising packets in iBeacon, Eddystone and MikroTik formats. Built-in sensors provide telemetry data such as acceleration, tilt and battery level, which is then sent to a KNOT gateway and further to a remote server using MQTT or HTTP protocols. By adjusting the interval of packet sending, battery life can be up to five years.
Reliability in Difficult Conditions
The outdoor version of the TG-BT5-OUT tag features outstanding durability and reliability, thanks to its IP69k rating . This means that the tag is dustproof and completely protected from high-pressure water, making it ideal for use in industrial telemetry systems and for tracking heavy equipment on construction sites. An operating temperature range of -20°C to 85°C and rugged construction allow the tag to be used in the harshest environments.
