Uni-T UT682 Wire Tracker and RJ-45 Cable Tester The Uni-T UT682 is an advanced wire identification and testing tool, ideal for network technicians, electricians, and telephone installers. Working with various wire types, it ensures accuracy and efficiency in diagnosing and maintaining cable installations. Versatile Testing Capabilities The UT682 works with internet, electrical, and telephone wires, making it incredibly versatile. It checks circuit continuity, detects shorts, and indicates the polarity of telephone wire pairs within ±(5 V~52 V). Testable telephone line length is up to 3000 m, making the UT682 ideal for large installations. Signalization and Energy Efficiency The meter offers visual and audible signaling, facilitating wire identification in difficult conditions. A low battery indicator ensures readiness, and low power consumption (approx. 10 mA standby, <40 mA operation) guarantees long-term use without frequent battery changes. The transmitter generates a continuous output voltage of up to 12 V peak-peak for effective wire testing and location. Robust Design and User-Friendliness The UT682 consists of a compact and portable transmitter and receiver. The transmitter weighs 150 g (74 x 68 x 28 mm), while the receiver weighs 130 g (208 x 47 x 33 mm). It's powered by 9V batteries. The kit includes RJ11, RJ45 cables, an RJ11 cable with alligator clips, and a carrying case. Environmental Resistance The UT682 operates in temperatures from 0°C to 40°C and humidity from 20% to 75% RH. Storage is possible from -10°C to 50°C and 10% to 90% RH, making it durable and reliable even in challenging conditions. It's also suitable for use at altitudes up to 2000 m.
